The Sebastian River area and its surrounding community are great supporters of the Sebastian River High School Band. The Band, in turn, has become an equally important part of the Community by participating in its many functions throughout the year and by offering free and low-cost concerts to the public. The students who are involved in the band are highly motivated. It is expected that many will become the leaders of tomorrow in whatever community they choose to reside.
Many area businesses and individuals enjoy the band's presence in the Community and provide financial assistance. As a result, the Band is well-equipped and is able to travel to competitions and performances as well as to away-from-home football games.
