BAND SECRETARY

Lisa Page

Lisa Page is a Florida native. She grew up in Vero Beach and attended Vero Beach High School and Indian River Community College. She and her husband John have three children. She has been a Band Booster parent for over 10 years, serving in multiple positions. She was the band secretary at Gifford Middle School from 2012 until 2015, when she moved to become the band secretary for the Sebastian River High School Band Program.  When not working to support the SRHS Bands, Lisa enjoys crafting and spending time with her family.


COLOR GUARD DIRECTOR

Tanner Wetzel

Tanner is an Arizona native with over a decade of experience in the marching arts. After graduating high school, he hit the ground running performing with some of the most prestigious groups in the country including Santa Clara Vanguard, Paramount, and Pride of Cincinnati. Outside of competitive circuits, Tanner has a professional background touring the US and Japan with various performing ensembles such as Blast! Tanner previously taught in Indiana as the Assistant Director at Northview High School, where the winter guard has appeared in scholastic world finals each year he was involved. He also teaches the color guard at Phantom Regiment and designs for various winter guards around the country. Outside of teaching, Tanner spends time working in digital advertising and babying his cat, Tick.

FRENCH HORN INSTRUCTOR

JOHN WILKERSON

John Wilkerson graduated from Old Dominion University with a bachelor's degree in Music Education, cum laude, and Radford University with a master's degree in Music Performance. After years as a teacher, performer and business owner in Virginia and Maryland, Wilkerson chose Florida as home in 1998. He keeps busy in the professional music education community with 30 private horn students and as the Adjunct Professor of Horn at Eastern Florida State College.


His private students consistently win the top seats in the area's All-County Bands and Orchestras and over the last several years have also won the principal seats in Florida's All-State Orchestras and Bands. His EFSC students have gone on to receive advanced degrees in music and have entered both the music education and music performance fields. In the music performance area, Wilkerson is semi-retired as a freelance hornist in central and south Florida. His performances have included tours with Johnny Mathis, The Irish Tenors, Dennis DeYoung with Styx, Kanas, the Moody Blues, Mannheim Steamroller, The Alan Parsons Project, Clay Aiken, Amy Grant and Bernedette Peters among with many other major entertainers. Wilkerson has performed with many of the professional orchestras in central and south Florida and is a founding member of the Sunshine Brass Quintet.
